Two spec is answer to sit or raid question. Some people are willing to gather good offspec gear and have skills master it and they do no want sit in bench when boss say we need 10healers. Pure dps classes can spec two different pve dps spec. Bm hunter can go survival when enouncter is pet unfriendly. Destro warclock can swap tank support spec when needed etc. Also holy/disc is very nice combo when you need different kind of healing/utility.
