Since this is a think-tank article I'm not sure where your justification for this comment is. By excluding the ret paladin from the melee group you are nerfing their dps which is not insignificant. Furthermore I'd argue that it is better for raid dps to put the feral druid into the hunter group which would have a resto shaman who drops GoA.
