Rant on why I hate your post and thus you:

If MM specs are the best DPS you've seen, you most likely a) are terrible, b) are blind to any WWS parses with competent hunters in them, c) only play with other hunters that are terrible, or d) have a severe mental aversion to playing a hunter correctly.

A 41/20/0 BM spec will be the best personal DPS spec you can find (barring extremely optimal gearing, ie. Thori'dal and full Sunwell gear). Pet life is extended by three things: paying attention to fire, yelling at healers, and knowing which fights you cannot use a pet on. Even without a pet you can match, if not beat, an undergeared MM or SV specced hunter solely due to Serpent's Swiftness. Mana usage can be compensated for through heavy use of potions, a shadow priest, or having non-lazy paladins to judge wisdom.

I spared the third point I wanted to give you (which would be a week off) solely so your next post can be constructive. Hopefully using the resources we already have on the forum will help you. If not, more infractions will at least save me having to type up this much again.

so look im searched a little as the first post said to do and i didnt find much and i know this question has been contraversial over many levels but i have to ask it so bear with me here. What is the best dps spec for raids? BM is wonderful unless ur pet dies then you lose half your shit and i mean cmon....it doesnt live that long. MM is the best dps i've seen but the problem is you go oom in 10 seconds flat. Surv is great for making your opponent easier to kill and racking so much agi that your crit chance is off the charts, and cmon the traps rape.....dont even get me started on wvrens sting....but which one is the best. I think that if you could do it right a surv/mm/bm combo would be perfect. but it would be hard. like maybe a 7/12/42 spec (bm/mm/surv) but i want some oppinions before i go and do it....
