I have been trying to peruse the myriad of posts in this thread and gain some insight into how to be a great healadin. I started healing for our arena team and hadn't ever done it before. I soon began healing for 5 mans and eventually Kara. After reading through here I noticed mention of using different ranks of HL. I am currently using Grid with Clique for my healing and only using FL and HL at their highest ranks. I'm trying to figure out what I need to do to become better. I currently have just under 2000 +healing with about 25% crit chance and 149 mp5. My haste rating is at 14. I primarily heal Kara, 5 man heroics, and arena. I'm trying to understand what stats, gear and gems I should be looking for, particularly post Kara. Most of my gear is PVP Arena gear with a few other pieces added in for my PVE set. Is it necessary for me to start stacking haste? Is spell crit a better stat to stack for PVP? Should I be getting a separate PVE set?
As far as stacking haste, it appears that stacking haste is done with the intention of using a downgraded HL. I am very new to this thread and the theorycrafting behind healadins, so please dont be too harsh on me. I'm just trying to get some ideas here on what stats I need to look for post-Kara.
