I'm not saying your opinion is or isn't valid, but these forums are not intended to be a relay between people who aren't in the beta and the official forums. If you have something to contribute about the new talents, great, post them. And if people agree, they may repost parts of it in the beta forums. But do not post stuff just to request it be reposted elsewhere, and we *definitely* don't want to hear you complain about how you didn't get into the beta. Thanks.

Lacking a beta account, someone please reply to the threads on my behalf, in response to the tree updates (Or at least consider my opinions when posting yours).
Arcane Skills-
-Arcane Missiles: Scales horribly
-Mage Armor: Additional Resists, while nice, only add to the "RNG" factor blizzard seems to be trying to avoid
-Polymorph: The 2 healers that make up 95% of 2s/3s over 2k bracket are the healers who can instantly break sheep. By and large unless it's a PMR (who's strengths don't solely rely on sheep as a spammable CC), mages' CC falls behind on the 2 classes that make up the overwhelming majority of healers in arena 2s/3s. Fear is being made useful against its former class counters, do the same for polymorph
Arcane Talents -
-Improved Arcane Missiles - Horrible talent, even if it had a pve application (it has next to none in pvp), 5 points is overkill
-Improved Counterspell - With many of the key healing classes having monstrously mitigating instant cast spells (Nature's Swiftness, Pain Supression), this talent is a 100% must have in today's pvp, almost no exception
-Focus Magic- I believe i speak for the community when i say raid buffing at the sacrifice of personal dps is something we'd really like to avoid
-Torment the Weak - Completely out of place and weird in its current state
-Slow - Still worthless. Why? It doesn't affect instant casts, druids can shapeshift out of it (100 mana vs. your 700), priests who mainly use instant casts (the other main 2s/3s healer) can dispel it immediately, or ignore it.
Arcane Glyphs -
Glyph of Arcane Power should be +5 seconds, 18 second arcane power is just weird
Glyph of Invisibility - Boring, how about movement speed while invised?
Fire Skills-
IGNITE - Fix losing ignite when you simulteanously crit!!! It kills Fire Blast, and it'll be glaringly bad with the new Hot Streak
Flamestrike - Horrible spell
Fire Blast - Useless (DPS Loss) with bugged ignite.
Fire Talents-
Burning Determination- Little to short, if you're spell locked (one of the medium long silences), this only has a 4 second duration on the tree you were casting, i can't imagine how often i've ever been silenced twice in 10 seconds in serious arena
IGNITE- Fix, in other news 100% required and fat.
Playing with Fire- For such a penalty and liability, this spell shouldn't be considered in dps calculations, it should be free damage if you put this liability on your group
Fire Glyphs - Barring Fire Blast, really boring
Frost Skills-
Blizzard - Worthless. Rank 1 was decent to keep people in combat, 1/7th of a caster's mana pool to cast an easily interruptable spell is abominable. It does less damage than a corruption from a warlock, while it being the only spell you can cast and the only damage you do.
Cone of Cold- Was a decent instant damage spell, but not so much with all the -aoe talents suddenly affecting it.
Deep Freeze- Again, this focus on it being overpowered on shaman/paladin and incredibly underwhelming on priests/druids. Both can instantly break out of it making this nigh impossible to use.
Frost Talents-
Frozen Core- 1.5 classes out of 10 will be doing frost/fire in arena, and if that class is mage 90% of the time they're being focused and will use non frost instants, and even then it's horribly inefficient per point
Improved Cone of Cold- Did like no damage in TBC, will do none with most classes/pets getting negative aoe damage.
Shattered Barrier- Needs its own DR, and for a shorter time (4 seconds?) Completely worthless if it eats frost nova DR (we already run into issues in TBC with people going immune to frost nova)
Water Elemental- One shotted by AoE (Why doesn't it get pet treatment??), dies within 4 seconds of most classes targetting it.
Improved Water Elemental- Completely useless in raids, 90% useless in pvp
Improved Water Elementa/Brain Freeze/Chilled to the Bone- So, so, so boring and uncreative, add some spice to it (Sapphiron esque blizzard, cast it and leave it? Please?)
Frost Glyphs-
Frostbolt Glyph- Negates 5+ full talents with multiple points for 5% damage? Ouch
