Does anyone use the autotarget-self modifiers in the default UI? (eg, alt = cast spell on self)
I keep looking at that and wondering if it's a good idea, vs just binding a macro for the most crucial
"panic button" stuff like I do now with things like lay on hands for a tankadin. It would save keys
but I'd have to use a chord in a panic button situation instead of a key.

Here's how I do it:
I have self-cast always turned on, then I use mouseover macros for pretty much everything that can be cast on anyone.
Here's my layout. Everything underlined has a mouseover macro.
(using Mouse 4 as ALT and Mouse 5 as SHIFT)
Movement = RDFG
One row on the keyboard at a time:
1 = Divine Intervention
2 = Lay on Hands
3 = Righteous Defense
4 = Holy Light
5 = Flash of Light
6 = Sacred Shield
7 = Divine Plea
8 = Exorsicm
Alt+8 = Turn Evil
Shift+8 Holy Wrath
Shift + 1 through 7 = auras
Q = Autorun
W = Consecrate
Shift+W = Shield of Righteousness
E = Judgement of Light
Shift+E = Judgement of Wisdom
Alt+E = Judgement of Justice
T = Crusader Strike
Shift+T = Divine Storm
Alt+T = Hammer of Wrath
Y = Arcane Torrent
