Part of the fun of being at "cutting edge" content is getting to do your own research on fight mechanics. It's all explainable, but at this point in the game you need to figure it out yourself.

Original Post:

So we've been working on Sartharion with his 3 drakes, and it's a doosey.
We're having issues with people not being able to see the Shadow Fissure graphics due to various graphical and positioning issues. Some of it is just bad play, yes, but for instance the hit boxes for the drakes are incredibly small, and the melee needs to stand inside them, with his tail obscuring the fissure graphic).
I main tank Sarth since I can push my HP to 48k raid buffed (ferals are OP!), giving me enough HP to survive his Flame Breaths despite the -25% HP debuff and the double fire damage taken debuff. However, we're running into a major issue that I can't explain. As the fight progresses, Sartharion's Flame Breaths seem to be getting stronger and stronger. They start at around 17k, and slowly ramp up. By the time we've been wiping (just after the third drake lands, usually), I'm taking upwards of 33k per breath. I once took a 42k breath, which is completely unsurvivable by any means short of popping multiple cooldowns. What's going on here?
