This isn't the thread to discuss leveling specs, it's for end-game DPS discussions. Please don't take it the wrong way, but not many people here care about leveling specs.

I've been trying many specs while leveling, most recently the Dual-Wield Tri-Spec. I definitely enjoyed parts of it (in particular, some of the frost talents that I never really appreciated before), but I found myself disliking the weakening of certain key abilities (Death Strike, Obliterate, etc.) due to the lower weapon damage. Having just picked up a Halaani Claymore, I decided to try some variations of the spec without the focus on dual-wielding. I arrived at an Unholy/Frost hybrid that has seemed to work pretty well, and I'm curious if anyone here has tried something similar. I'm currently shooting for something like the following:

Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
(currently 67 and running Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft)

My rotation is PS --> IT --> BS --> BS --> then spam OB (with deathcoils and garg as appropriate); eventually fitting in some HB's once I get that talent. I know you typically spec for Scourge Strike with deep unholy, but for an unholy/frost hybrid I'm not seeing any advantage to such a spec over just using Obliterate. I'm enjoying the large Death and other strikes due to the nice 2H and the third disease, and the sizable Death Coils are slick as well. I expect to be amused by Howling Blast as well once I get up that high, if nothing else just for free ones due to Rime and some nice ranged burst damage for PVP.

The spec still has some leeway, losing PVP/fun talents assuming I need Subversion eventually, or picking up CotG/Dirge if I start to find myself RP starved (or garg poofing too soon). I suppose I'm possibly missing some key stuff in Blood that would be better point for point than what I currently have, so any feedback would be appreciated. Obviously I'm not worried about raiding just yet (mostly solo/group/World PvP), but thoughts about the eventual raiding implications would be useful as well.
