This isn't the WoW concrete poetry thread.

Not being 80 is as equally irrelavent as not being 70 when one was 60 in pre-BC.
The methodology of healing hasnt change much, only the tricks of the trade and the numbers.
True, I am not 80 yet, but the remaining points I have not spent in my talents will only make up for 4% spell haste and additional stamina and spirit.
My healing strategies will not change one ounce.
As for not keeping people topped off, I dont have this issue.
Perhaps it is a healing rotation issue?
40% of my healing is Renew, and I average about 25% overheal, so I fail to see how that equates to less than full more than 50% of the time.

While I appreciate your skepticism, "experiencing" healing at 80 as a Hybrid is as aforementioned, a minute difference in performance.
Bigger numbers, different gear.
In fact, my healing strategy hasnt changed since 60, and I have never had a problem healing as a hybrid.
I have specced 51+ points in discipline already, and Im not impressed.
I have specced 51+ points in Holy, (with Serendipity) and I am impressed.
I simply have no interest in focusing on one person alone. Personal preference of healing.
While I CAN do this as a hybrid, I'd much prefer to raid heal instead.
My 80 build is already complete. 39/32/0 is the end result.
Penance is a waste of points IMO. Anything that requries me to channel is a waste of mana regen.
If Im in a raid, Im not DPS'ing unless Im bored (the tank simply doesnt take much damage, i.e Good Tank) and if Im idle, then the group is simply too well geared/skilled to really need much effort from me anyway.
I spend a measily 15-20% of my time out of FSR, and I still manage to maintain plenty of mana.
Perhaps in the end, it is merely a personal preference.
Ive healed tanks who rarely took damage, and never lost threat. (Good tanks)
Ive healed tanks who took way too much damage and had threat issues. (Bad Tanks)
In most cases, the former was not attributed to gear, but to skill, where the latter was a lack of both.
Regardless of spec, there is a finite amount of mitigation against ineptitude or incompetance.
Thankfully, Ive not had to heal through an excess of either.
