Just going to vent here to see if anyone else feels the same way.

Right now unholy owns the monopoly of 2h dps. No other 2h dps spec can touch unholy dps. Suprisingly this spec is going to get buffed in the patch with the ghoul glyph adding yet more percent of your strength to the ghoul. As well as night of the dead being buffed for more consistant ghoul uptime.

I don't know about you guys but i rolled thsi class because of the extreme flexibility it promised and the buffs it could bring. If any one was missing i could switch my spec and bring the buff the raid was missing at a cost of plus or minus 300 dps.

I can easily pull 4k+ in raids as unholy 2h spec. If i go blood, not only do i have to work twice as hard and keep an extremely tight rotation, but i come out with far less dps while doing more work. And frost...

Frost is so absurd right now. Im simply stunned that a PS'less rotation is working best. While it might work, to me that just feels clunky and downright bad design.

Then we have DW builds. Right now the DW builds are doing the most dps. Blizzard said they didn't want to promote DW builds because too many dk's would go DW instead of 2h. I dont understand this logic. They base everything around making players make a choice. So why not just let them choose? Why halfass things and make people go hybrid spec just to make DW work.

I think the Bullet needs to be bit and they just need to make frost the DW build.

With the patch looming, to me i see unholy as our beastmaster pve spec, Blood tanking with a last stand lasting 30 seconds with 50 percent more healing on a one minute cooldown, that will become the tank spec as i honestly see no way that spec can ever die with good healers. (By good healers i mean our holy paladin who can solo heal 10 man sapphiron.)

GC even admitted that he is suprised dk's havent needed more tweaks up to this point but the tweaks are coming. How long must we wait though? This patch is taking forever to come out, obviously because of holidays, but the next content patch = a raid dungeon and we already know how long those take to come out. We can bank on four months of waiting.

I dunno, im just not impressed at the current standing of our class. Its very unpolished and needs a ton of work.
