BM Hunter Current Stats Unbuffed (NO Hawk)
Damage: 1185 - 1348
Speed: 1.82
Power: 3403
Hit Rating: 179
Crit Chance: 28.43%
Question #1: Attack Speed
It is my understanding that the Global Cooldown looms at 1.5
Unbuffed I am already sporting a 1.82 Attack Speed.
With Raid Buffs and Rapid Fire my attack speed is faster than 1.5
Although traditional "Clipping" is not longer in effect is there a point where too much base haste causes less overall DPS?
If so, are there calculators that show ideal haste for a BM rotation of Steady/Auto (Scorpid Sting always up)
Question #2: Scorpid Sting.
If we bring two or more BM hunters to a raid who both use the Glyph of Steady Shot (Increases the damage dealt by Steady Shot by 10% when your target is afflicted with Serpent Sting.)
Do we both need to mark the mob/boss with Serpent Sting to receive the damage increase?
Or does the mob just need to have Serpent Sting Applied in order for both hunters to see the benefits?
Question #3: Spec
I am currently Spec'd into a 50/21 Build with 3 points in Focused Aim to Reduce Hit Cap. (Instead of Improved Stings)
Blizzard has already announced that Readiness will not effect BW in upcoming patch.
So, this spec is less effective for the future.
I looked into this Build: Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft which seems strong, but I lose the hit cap reduction.
Are others finding it hard to reach the hit cap without Focused Aim?
