They go "way beyond" where you are at because that's the aspect of the game these forums address. If you want to learn how to play your class, you're going to need to learn elsewhere.

I have a mage i have been tinkering with forever now, and am approaching 80. I have never really instanced with her but did do one the other night. My dps was poor (lvl 78 and 763 dps) and would like to know where to start looking to help build my mage? Most of the threads and posts go way beyond where I am at and after a bit have me more confused than ever. Currently I am specced fire and have been exclusively which I'm sure isn't helping my cause.
