And then they could set it up so that the game pushes the button for you, too. You're getting pretty wishlisty, and the ideas are sort of obviously silly as well.

What about changing Haunt to refresh all periodic damage spells(UA, Corr, CoA, SL, Immo), remove the cooldown, and increase the damage to be more inline with Shadow Bolt. This would remove the need to watch DoT Timers for when to refresh DoT's. Immolate's periodic damage would probably need to be increased to make up for the loss of the initial dd damage. The Immolate glyph may or may not need a change as well. I would then say that ISB needs to be changed to include Haunt crits.
Granted we traded Shadow Bolt spam for Haunt spam with some flavor but it eliminates the need for DoT timers.
Only other solutions that seem to be on the right track would be merging spells and/or making them all instant cast. Eliminating the travel time of Haunt is a good idea also but its still another spell casted.
