I also never liked bloodsurge, even from beta. Extremely poor design and totally no logic behind it. Heavy rng based as before the patch and yet no reason what so ever to bring up slam! Why? Simple because of slam is supposed to be an arms ability -and i find no reason why it is still on fury section in spellbook instead of arms since improved slam has moved to arms tree-. Moreover just forcing players to use an ability that wasn't even put in actionbars for years without modifying the ability itself but just offer a conditional and occasional use of it just adds to the poor design. Why was slam preferred instead of victory rush anyway? Why is it on the GCD ? I didnt see any great upgrade in output after the change either, just a 6-8% more or less depending on ridiculously short fights that have nothing to do with how game used to be.
And i also disagree with everyone stating that fury rotation wasnt challenging. Keeping the 2 core abilities on cd and using HS as a dumb is a very naive description of how the class works. The ability to fit in as many heroics as rage allowed so as you dont loose potential dps was actually challenging enough , at least more than any shadow/fire/frost/random element bolt spam or hunter macro. This was what separated good from less good players aka rage management. And by the way a warrior can always be on demo shout/sunder duty. Another ability would be welcomed but that form of BS is just...bs.
On another note i would like to report that i saw a couple of attacks being dodged by malygos after patch with 6.50% total chance not to be dodged. Anyone heard anything about it?
