When It comes to these changes, I am optimistic.

For all you other die-hard destruction lock, Take Heart!

The promise of more talents and reworkings of current ones almost DEFINITELY means that F&B will get a new coat of paint, meaning it might actually be worth speccing into.
The changes to hunter ammo means that although we probably won't see the big change promised to us for the Soul Shard system in 3.1, it is on the horizon.
Drain Soul will give shards in combat, which may or may not be a good thing, we'll see.
ISB, depending on how they change it, may actually be good for destruction (omg!)

unfortunately, switching ISL for replenishment is going to be a nerf. I go oom fast enough with BOTH improved soul leech and replenishment, and removing the stacking returns of ISL will lead to more life taps and more lost GCDs. /sigh

With any luck though, Blizzard may actually decide to boost destro damage a wee bit.
With affliction locks in their current state, Destro seems like a fall back build for those of us whose eyes begin to bleed after a good hour of dot-watching.

I really, REALLY hope blizz gives us a change for the better. Only time, however, will tell...
