Please don't post if all you have is a cryptic "a little birdy told me," because even if a little birdy did tell you, no one else knows whether your little birdy is a trustworthy source. Plus, if a little birdy really did tell you, you should know that Blizzard posters read these forums, and they may be able to figure out who that little birdy is if you're not careful.

That suggests that Naxx/Ulduar will use blue gems, while unknown/Icecrown will use epic gems. Bringing out epic gems this early in the expansion's lifecycle would be very shortsighted.

Agree and confirmed by a little bird. We won't see epic gems till Icecrown.
