Anyway, if there is someone on this earth lucky enough to get to choose between those and have the 5 T7 piece, I think the answer to your question is pretty clear : Obsidian Helm if you are hit cap and the BP if you are not (You can calculate it with Methods numbers, which are the best we have at the moment imo).

Speaking on behalf of the Undiminished Battleplate (or just about any item droprate you view through the item's page), that's an 8% drop chance when combining normal and heroic modes. Going to the boss' page and filtering by heroic mode drops shows an appropriate drop rate of 18%.
