I'm sure there hasn't been any discussion whatsoever of gem priorities in this thread previously. Please search and read before posting. Thanks.

And:
"We are also taking a close look at clearcasting procs themselves. One likely outcome is to change them to an Innervate-like surge of mana so that the net benefit is the same, but healers won’t shift to out-of-casting regeneration so often. "
I'm very interested in the exact numbers here, but I hoped they wouldn't touch Spirit/5SR but instead nerf Intellect and it's synergy with effects like Replenishment. That a nerf for mana regeneration would come was obvious.

With these changes being implemented, I am wondering how this affects gem choice for Jewelcrafting options. Currently I use +27 spirit x3 gems because I'm attempting to get my spirit/int ratio closer to 1:1. However, with these changes I'm wondering if maybe +27 int, regardless of spirit/int ratio, is a significantly better choice for raiding?
On a side note assuming that each Jewelcrafting cut is itemized fairly:
+27 spirit = +11 spirit bonus
x3 = +33 spirit (roughly 2 Sparkling sky sapphire)
+27 intellect = +11 int bonus
x3 = +33 int (roughly 2 Brilliant autumn's glow)
+32 spell power = +13 spell power bonus
x3 = +39 spellpower (roughly 2 Runed Scarlet ruby)
