I highly doubt that it's going to amount to a 500 dps loss though.

in that patchwerk kill, as pets only an infernal is listed in your damage dealt split. considering the amount of dps a raid buffed felhunter or succubus can deliver, i assume you had your pet on passive during the fight. could that have been the reason for the dps loss?
