In both cases you can not start dpsing right away due to positioning/agro management (any Raidleader will kill you - after the mob did) which leaves plenty of time to get a Kilrogg out and dismiss it, repopping your imp at your side.

Since Corr has 18s duration, you will waste the GCD when the old Corr was strongerr. I tend to use IN or LT instead and refresh Corr whithout clipping.
- Backdraft and GCD:
Backdraft reduces your GCD, so never ever hesitate to use Conflag on cooldown.
Embrace is 15%, Bloodlust 30%. 21% from items (~672 rating) will cap your GCD during bloddlusted Embrace procs, but you are still far away from capping IN at that point.

- What I basically do is cast Immo and Corruption every 18 seconds. Not optimal, but I can get away with it as long as there's another lock in the raid.
