ive scoured maybe 15 of the pages of this thread, and I see alot of both cases, but im currently raiding on my lock (old main) in an alt naxx25 run. In a week or two my gear should be mostly 25man gear. I hate affliction for some reason, and love demo.

Ive been running 0/41/30 and 0/53/18 alot, and checked on some spreadsheets and even used simcraft. Everything I use basically points 0/41/30 higher than 0/53/18, yet i see a ton of talk in here about meta/ruin being better. I know both are viable, but if we have an ele shaman keeping ToW down, and my spellpower is still sub 2800, is 0/41/30 the better choice, or is meta/ruin going to come out on top? Also, with both specs, i saw the debate, specifically with 0/41/30 that corruption is a dps decrease. Given that, is the firestone a better dps increase, since the 1% DD is 1% of 70%+ of your dps, and is therefore going to outweigh the haste vs crit ratios.
