Great blog, horrible post.
Original Post:
I need to borrow one of you math people for a day and then have you push numbers through my thick skull. I understand the argument vs. capping hit and expertise vs. pure dps vs. 4 set bonuses. It is hard to argue with solid numbers and I praise those who have fortified their argument with math and statistics.

Like many others who have posted I have a lot of Ret gear too and I want to calibrate my toon to max potential as well. So I do this post with fire resistance aura up to hopefully resist some of the flames that will surely insue.

/puts pipe down. It’s all about feel and perception man and I am not talking about the talent. Example; Once upon a time having just replaced the Jawbone with mah BoH I cut expertise and hit for att power and crit and go into Sarth. While dancing in the center of flame walls I dpsed the adds with DS and I hear that annoying parry sound accompanied with yellow words of dodge, parry, on my screen. Perception; I freaked, I checked the WWS and certainly my miss rate was very high, however dps wasn’t too bad. So I bumped expertise and hit and cut the juice and im still a beast but I trimmed the rng out and I’m cool with that. Just like the dude said above, consistency, and that’s piece of mind to me. But I’m sure I’ve been called stupid before particularly by a math geek so tell me if I am not right, but be nice. I aint always right but I never been wrong, seldom turns out the way it does in the song
