I don't want you to fucking link the thing. You'll happen to notice every person on these forums has an armory link in their profile. Hey, look at that! You can just click it right there! How convenient! I wonder if you'll ever figure it out.

Original Post:

I've only made one post on these forums and I got warned for not providing my armory or a WWS link to back up something I was saying:
The World of Warcraft Armory
Wow Web Stats
That WWS was before I had my 2nd BoH or 2nd Berserking enchant. I did that off handing the Inevitable Defeat with 85 AP enchant on it. I also used FotFF in that WWS, as I was testing it out but I still like MoT better.
I am also like those people who refuse to wear leather/mail to squeeze out an extra bit of DPS. It's just not my style. So my armory is pretty close to the BiS plate set up I like to use in reply to the person who posted a few posts up. However, there are 3 items I still need. Envoy of Mortality, Girdle of Razuvious, and Drape of the Deadly Foe. I'm next in line for 2 out of the 3 items and 2nd for the back piece.
Once I pick up the Raz's belt, I can put the Ring of Invincibility back on instead of Ruthlessness and change the gem in my helmet to 16 STR because of how weird expertise works as it only goes up by 0.25% increments. Then I'd have to put an 8 expertise + 8 hit gem in my shoulders but overall, it's still a DPS increase. So that's my plate BiS set up.
But the reason I'm posting isn't just in reply to the best plate BiS set up. I want to talk a bit more about hit rating. Now granted I never wore leather or mail, but I did ride with a very low hit rating and only the 2 piece set bonus to get a little more AP/Crit out of gear and my DPS on Patchwerk was never remotely close to 7200 DPS. But once I changed to 4 piece and got the Crude Discolored Battlegrips, my DPS, not just on Patchwerk, but all fights were consistently higher.
In the past, I wouldn't say I was rage starved all the time. But just being rage starved for 2-3 times in each fight, even for 1-2 GCD's, can really kill your overall DPS. But now that I have extra hit rating (didn't go out of my way for it) and the 4 piece bonus, I rarely miss using an ability every GCD all night and get to HS a lot more than I ever did. So in theory or on a spreadsheet, the minimum hit required might produce the highest DPS, but in practice, I prefer consistency as that is what is working best for me.
I am a bit curious to see what I could do if I just gave in and wore leather/mail and stayed at a very low hit rating and followed spreadsheets as if they were the law, but I'm pretty content with my performance going down that road I chose. I have seen some impressive WWS though of people who do that, but they also had a 2nd BoH & berserking enchant and x2 hysteria on much faster 1:40 PW kills and didn't do much better than what I did. Now that I have the 2nd BoH + berserking enchant + MoT, I'm curious if I could match some of the better WWS that I have seen without gimping my hit rating or wearing leather/mail.
Last time I posted, I received a lot of tells in game in regards to my past. So I'll just answer it here to save sometime. Yes I'm the same George who made the Nef video using the Thunderfury back in BWL a very very long time ago. Cheers!
