Hey guys, I read here a lot but don't post very often. I've read most of this thread and I feel I have a decent grasp on hunter DPS in theory. However I feel my DPS is lacking somewhat (relative to gear). I hit about 4.4k (PW 25) on a good day.

My amory: GEAR

My spec: SPEC

My glyphs: Glyph of Stead Shot, Glyph of Imp. Aspect of the Dragonhawk, Glyph of Serpent Sting.

My pet = a cat with standard DPS spec, except that I skip Call of the Wild (for HotPhoenix).

My shot priority is:

KS
Explosive
Aimed
Serpent
Steady

I hear a lot of people saying 6/14/51 models as the highest dps spec, but on my spreadsheet (Shandara's v82) I get the best numbers from 1/19/51. I think Gftt is probably modeled incorrectly, but I get higher numbers from any 1/18/52 variant, even fully buffed.

Considering the DPS loss from skipping Call of the Wild, is there anything else glaring that I could fix to improve my DPS? Is it gear?

I'll try to get my hands on a WWS soon, but for the moment a "you're on the right track" or a "this is totally wrong" would be awesome.
