Anyway, am I the ONLY affliction warlock not too concerned about his DPS? Eradication nerf is hurtful, and while I use immolate and siphon life, as any good lock would, I don't think it's going to be a HUGE DPS decrease.
Who knows, a few glyphs are now opened up (no more Siphon Life, Immolate0 -- perhaps they will be able to aid in said loss of DPS.
Rotation will clearly be easier, though it's not that hard now...

Okay i think some people are forgetting that they already said that the change to siphon life would be a damage neutral change. (Unless they changed it) That the debuff would still appear alongside corruption and the damage would be folded into corruption. That was a blue post when the little notes first came out with the change.
(Will have to wait till someone gets on and see how it works to prove this however but lets not get crazy making assumptions).
Alright. So from my first view, this is what i see.
My rotation isnt going to change except for having one less spell to cast. I'm curious what they did with the duration of siphon life or corruption, im guessing its just corruptions duration now. and since they didnt change the glyph of siphon life, im assuming that it acts just like it does now, maybe even same duration just refreshed when corruption is refreshed by haunt.
Immolate has been nerfed a bit because no more molten core, but aftermath makes up for the loss of damage from shadow embrace. However someone mentioned earlier that haunt no longer affects immolate but unless im missing something thats not true. haunt still affects all periodic damage. so the only thing we are losing in immolate damage is molten core i think.
imp shadowbolt...while its an okay change for the purposes of giving us a raid friendly spell, i dont think ill be speccing into it for raiding as there will be a mage around providing a better buff. (much like all our debuffs, theres a better one out there).
Eradication...well i think this is a nerf but a small one. i only put one point into it before anyway.
Threat problems unaddressed (depending on how much a damage nerf this is of course, that might be fixed by that)
Will wait for actual testing results before i freak out.
