Hi, I've read this forum for quite some time but never posted. I'm more of an observer :P
I've done a lot of research on Warlock specs with a fondness for Demonology and ways to maximize my potential with this tree. I've yet to try out a Meta/Ruin build, so most of my personal testing has been via the FG/Emberstorm build.
With that in mind, here is my latest WWS parse;
WoW Web Stats
This parse is without a Doomguard or any crazy sub 2 minute kill, which I feel is a good representation of the specs capability. On a side note, if you view the "All Bosses" section of the WWS parse, I also lead the meter by 2 million overall damage, which just shows this spec is quite versatile. It's also quite fun on trash as the FelGuard has some monster Cleaves, though I can't seem to compete with Rogues and their 20k dps FoK :P
I was using Glyph of Immolate, CoA and FelGuard. As well as a Firestone. Fully flasked and raid buffed, Speed potion at the start of Heroism, which was used at 35%, but no other additives.
My gear is far from maximized, but is by no means weak. I lack a couple of the strongest pieces (such as Turning Tide and IotDS) which have _never_ dropped for my guild, so I do believe with a bit more practice and upgrades I can break the 6000 dps mark.
If you have any other questions about my build, gear or rotation; please ask. I am still learning, and am always seeking ways to improve, just like the rest of you
