I love DW, and I love Frost the most of any of the specs, so believe me when I ask this, I want to be convinced whole heartedly.
But exactly how would would the PVE raiding build be better with DW than 2h? You'd just get bigger numbers from a 2h using Frost Strike, Necrosis favors 2H now that it's main hand only, and BCB is practically neuteured. I see no particularly DW-favoring talents that I can see?
I guess I'm just not understanding something fundamental here and would love to be corrected.

See, that is point I have been trying to make throughout all of these post. Blizzard based upon several post they have made and based upon the changes they have made to that talent tree, does not want any play style to be superior to another. I think most of us can agree that on the live servers, DW is the top dps that almost every raiding DK uses, which is usually 0/32/39 or a variation of this.
Talents like Necrosis, BCB, and others were doing a lot more damage when DW than using a 2h. The changes you see now on the PTR are to bring those talents, spells and abilities inline so they do not favor DW or 2h but rather produce about the same dps no matter which play style you use. The problem is people see these changes and think wow they make 2h godly when in fact they don’t.
I have spend about 4k gold on the PTR so far respec’ing and testing almost every combination of builds using both DW and a 2h, I even build Blood and Unholy specific 2h builds to test my theory. So far I have found no matter what build or what play style I use, the dps I do is about the same. Of course if you have better weapons for one play style over the other your damage will vary.
