The current discussion about the too risky recoil damage with JoB/SoB will be forgotten when Ulduar gets farmed easily and the progress is done.
Yeah, then we've got Icecrown Citadel after that.... wait, won't current scaling make that even worse than Ulduar? Yep, might as well fix it now.

I'm not happy seeing Ret's DPS locked at somewhere around 5500 on Patchwerk, it's frustrating seeing Rogues on the PTR slightly outdpsing me, at least with AoE-Dmg.
But skip the discussion about the seals, on early Malygos Achievement-Trys with huge Judgement crits I was scared hitting the button. A week later I and also the healers did learn to control it.
It's not rogues slightly out DPS'ing us, we are being consistently out-DPS'd by pretty much everyone with equal gear.

The current seal-situation isn't the best, but at least we have something you have to deal with. Imagine you have one Seal, enough mana to spam every ability ... where's the challenge to get the maximum out of your class then?
The same challenge every other class has to get the maximum out of their class: using the right rotation and minimizing the time between cooldowns.

Don't get me wrong, I love this thread and some of you have really the best ideas to the class ever made, but we're asking for something Blizz will hopefully never do, making Retributin Paladins boring to play because it's easy to get on top of the dmg-meters without being in a struggle with our health or mana.
We aren't asking to be top, we're asking to be competitive. We're asking for the game to be balanced. We have some nice utility, but it's worthless with crappy damage since you can just bring other classes with the same utility abilities. Hell, to be competitive we've had to use abilities that Blizzard didn't even intend for us to use.

And I don't know about anyone else, but I've never found hitting myself in the face for several thousand damage every 7 seconds to be fun, I find it annoying. Worrying about mana is one thing, it's something all the classes are intended to be worrying about, but no other DPS class has to worry about their health in order to do damage on anywhere near the same scale we do.
