The lengthy backstory is unnecessary, and I don't see how such equivalences add any value to the conversation. The value and functions of the various stats has been extensively discussed; I suggest you read up on them before posting.

(long time Warlock posting here)
I want to say before reading these posts I was stumbling around Outlands and Northrend on my silly little DK doing sub par DPS and barely having any fun at all...I came here out of frustration and knew I was missing something vital to making my DK something worth logging on to play. I must say after observing the info in these posts my DPS has nearly doubled and I haven't had this much fun playing WoW since I can remember!
I need to get myself into a "melee mindset" for lack of a better term...maybe you can help my thought process...stats I should be stacking and their "spell equivilents".
Expertise = something like Spell Hit?
Strength = "spell power"
Attack power = "spell power"
