I've been thinking about how a warrior would manage as DW-tank. I know that a lot of threat/dmg and dmg mitigation comes from a warriors shield but it would still be fun to try it once. I've been giving it quite some thought and I was hoping that others would like the idea and also give me some feedback before I tried it. I know it won't be something to MT with in raids.
The build:
World of Warcraft Europe -> Talents
I've focused on all the dmg reduction talents and the ones giving extra health and also focusing on talents that bost 1h dmg. I still have two talents left to place but I can't get anything good out of the protection tree with them. My guess is that I will put them in Weapon Mastery or Precision depending on the numbers on my gear. But hit and expertise will most likely be low as I have to focus on dodge/parry/stamina to not be beaten through the floor. And anyway it's the only mitigation avaliable for me. But as a bonus I will benefit more from Improved Defensive Stance and that should give a pretty good DPS/threat boost.
As for major glyphs I will use Glyph of Devastate but the other two I'm not sure about. I will probably take a lot of beating so Glyph of Revenge will probably be useless. Maybe Glyph of Cleaving and Glyph of Resonating Power/Glyph of Sunder Armor.
