One of the forum rules is to not sign your posts, and to not link your Armory profile in a post. Both of these things are contained in your user pane on the left side of your post, so they just waste space.

Speaking of hit, I have long been confused by those who specify that you want your hit around 290 or so. My guild regularly raids without a boomkin or a shadowpriest and for those instances I switch out my belt for the Plush Sash and I remove my Shield for the Ward of the Violet Citadel in order to ensure i'm at 361 hit (17%). By doing this I drop Crit (meh) and i also lose 20 Spell Power.
My question is, am I overdoing Hit by ensuring i'm fully capped? Or should I just aim for around 290 which is what my reading has led me to believe to be the magic number? I've linked my armory link at top just in case there is information needed on my toon and my gearing choices. Any help you all could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
