I am experiencing a large withdrow from the enchanting markets. Compared to last month i now see 10 times less dusts, essences and shards in the AH. I was going to stockpile for Ulduar but i think that too many people are doing the same. There for prices rise, now i am releasing parts of my stockpile to the needy. Even managed to sell Shards for 59 gold where they used to sell for 15 and Large Prismatics for 39 gold when they usually sell for 18. Both their prices stay at their normal levels but it is just like sometimes there isn't anything else in AH than those that i have put quite overpriced. And they do sell.
On a side note, shards tend to increase their price. And people are running less and less heroics. Lowering the shards supply and increasign their value. Their price hasn't rised much. From 10g before the enchanting materials changes up to 12~13 after that and holding at 15g max ATM. With the exception of selling overpriced shards at 59g each the price has moved to 22g at max during some periods.
I am thinking what stock should i be holding for Ulduar and what should i release before that. As
1. I want all the nice people that need their enchants now to be able to make them (even with overpriced maths)
2. I want to have enought stock to relase during Ulduar's first new epiX wave
3. I want to not have too mcuh stock in case the price drops after the first wave.
* Enchantign maths hold low risk due to the 0 cost to auction them and they will eventually sell. however i want to optimize the profits from the 1-2 weeks before 3.1.0 hits
P.S. My curent position on a medium server with somewhat large amount of raiding guilds and high demand of enchanting maths is ~ 1500 dusts and 150 GPE
