Looking at a random WWS log it does not seem like Chimera Shot resets the tick timer of Serpent Sting. The sting ticks every 3s regardless of when the Chimera Shot hits.

With CHIMERA GLYPH
9 sec CD.
1 sec (Delay, Arrow must arrive on the boss)
after 3 chimera [(9+1)*3], the Fourth Chimera take <40%> of 4 tick from SS
