Im more something like an oldsk00l resto druid i guess, i played resto through classic and switched to dps (enhancer) in BC, and now im back to Restodruid. I never saw what was fun in pushing the lifebloom castsequence makro in most of the encounters in BC while reading the newspaper.
The lifebloom nerf takes the strong lifebloom priority out of the playstyle. What i mean is, atm (and even more in bc) you build your whole playstyle around your lifebloom timers which in my opinion limits you pretty much in reactivity.
I love the idea of saving ppl from getting killed in this game (the reason why i play healer) and when all i do is focusing on keeping those lb bars rolling, there's not much i can do about that mage over there that has an EVIL add (which i could root, or swiftmend the mage).
So big thx and shoutout to my pally buddies that are so fond of spamming their holy light on tanks the whole evening and let me do the rest
As you see the main part of my heal comes from reju+WG, and the patch is not going to change that. I guess regrowth and nourish will change places, coz of the change to Nature's Bounty.
But i think its unlikely that the druid will change into a flash(nourish)-spamming monster, its more something i use to balance out the very low (already hotted) targets when swiftmend is on cooldown. Reju is just very strong and once you have 4 pieces T8 and can INSTA heal with it gets even stronger.
Imagin something like ~2,3k reju-initial from setbonus ->14k swiftmend crit leaving a seed for another 4,5k heal behind. -> over 20k heal in a gcd. I going to love it And i think thats very fun to play. Although there's some RNG in it (crit).
My glyph setup will most likely be Swiftmend/WG 6targets/Innervate for progress in Ulduar. Honestly how often do you cast nourish on a target with more than one hot on it? With my playstyle the nourish glyph just isnt worth it.
Im also thinking about a strong direct heal build for special occasions (with dualspecc), with a focus on nourish and maybe even Healing Touch, for encounters where you dont have the time to let hots do the job, something like razorscale where ppl get two shotted if not topped very fast.
