How is saying what group comp I used to pull the top dps as HaT for XT not worthwhile? Especially when no one really knows what comp to use as HaT. I even said what problems I had with the comp on the fight. I can quote all the PMs asking me group comp advise if you really think that post wasn't "important" enough.

Except you provided no such analysis. You just posted your DPS and group and said, basically "hey everyone look at my l33t DPS!". That might not have been your intention, but that's definitely the way it read.

Moreover, even if you had provided such analysis, it's unclear that it would have been useful; there's already a convenient list of the best HAT classes in the thread, and you basically said "with a group consisting of 4 of the top 6 members of the list, I did good DPS". Well, no shit. If you have a good group, you'll do good DPS. What a revelation. What *would* we do without such insight?

You can go through the entire HaT thread finding post after post of theory crafting and SimulationCraft BS. I'm the only one who actually posted any hard evidence that this group comp worked. SimulationCraft iprovides theories I tested them. My post showed my results.
Hard evidence > Theory.
I shouldn't have to explain every detail. The only detail that I felt people should know about it was that I was a little CP starved though out the fight. That's the only detail that was of any importance.

I'm sure you go through these forums enough to know that no one is testing HaT in actual raids. If you couldn't get any information out of my post you might be retarded.

These forums can stick to its "theories" because they'll never see any actual results with out the results being shot down by idiots, referring to them as "boasting".

If you hold theorycraft in such disdain, what are you doing on these forums in the first place? Theorycraft is what we *do* here.

And no, you didn't provide any hard evidence. You provided an anecdote. Variance on DPS is such that one fight tells us absolutely nothing. If you want to provide hard evidence, do a statistical analysis on the performance of 100 different HAT rogues on all raids they go to for 3 months. That's the scope of data we'd need to actually say anything productive. In terms of useful contributions to the discussion, DPS output on a single XT pull is in a category with the Hairy Ball Theorem and the molecular weight of ytterbium - that is, I'm sure someone cares, but it's not the general population on these forums, which should be your intended audience for posts.

In short: these are not the forums to link a WWS or WMO and say "check out my awesome DPS". We - as a community - don't care, unless you're making some larger point while so doing. So whether *you* think it's worthwhile or not, *we* don't want to see it, and ask that you not post such stuff again.
