Still either way look at it this way with inner focus 100% mana reduction with inner focus ( considering you acually spec'd into it ) the meditation with the 50% mana regen while casting and the spirit tap proc would refund your mana just as fast as you could pop inner focus.

Not to sure if that was irrelevant to what we are debating but just another little fact to the shadow priest build.
