You are confused at this point. First of all you must take note that simcraft models a tank and spank fight with 0 movement. Even if you can pull off some sick maneuvres during the gcds of all your lifetaps and instant casts, your dps wont increase. You simply played a movement fight like a tank and spank.

This skill only allows you to stay close to theoretical maximum dps, which is a value that simcraft will return on its simulations.

You do not 'gain' a free gcd by tapping on the move. The only thing you gained was a small window to move yourself around without losing dps since that window cant be used for anything else.

Basically any encounter that forces you to move will prevent you getting the kind of numbers you see on simcraft, which is again i say, modeled on a tank and spank. Obviously high movement fights favor the specs with more instants and lower mana efficiency and concordantly, specs which still utilise glyph of life tap. I guess spirit will be affected this way. However, you suggest taking a personal guess on reducing the apparent value of spirit, the concept of which i cannot accept. After all, simcraft is based on hard core numbers derived from valid information. If we are going to the trouble of running 30,000 iterations to obtain attribute scalars to the second decimal place, i dont think there's room for any kind of guesswork here.

I feel that adding latency offsets on the globals file is already pushing the sanity level but still, its a variable that affects all fights and all situations equally so it can considered in reliable calcs, but variable attributes based on fight type is over the limit on what simcraft can and should be doing.
