Ok, I'm still crunching numbers, but not being very satisfied with the theoretical values I'm using. I would be much happier if I had actuals to use. Nonetheless, after having thought about additional variables, I am now a firm believer that the Meta glyph is, unquesitonably, a better dps glyph than Immolate. Reason(s) being:

Crit chance - Most locks in this build should have a crit value close to 33%, so if we assume that 1 of 3 shadowbolts will crit, you'll be getting a 20% increase to dmg on 2 shadowbolts and a shadowbolt crit during the additional 6 sec. With that considered, the value of the Meta glyph starts to advance on Immolate.

Immolation Aura - If it were still questionable about which glyph is better after having considered crit chance, consider that you will be getting an extra 5-6 ticks of immolation aura as well (ticks every second). With that, the Meta Glyph should come out on top for sure.
