The burden of proof is not on me, it is on you. You decided to post a bunch of theoretical calculations - which you admit yourself are useless - and followed up that stellar choice with this little gem:

This theory doesn't consider critical strikes on shadowbolts, nor does it consider a slew of other variables which can effect the actual numbers. I've only begun to consider these, and already I am questioning whether or not the glyph of Meta can outperform Immolate. I'm currently sticking with Meta, and will further attempt to justify it's superiority over Immolate, but I'm too tired right now to keep going.

In other words, your math sucks and fails to take into account even basic variables; it is a failure. You were so horribly tired you couldn't possibly continue to work on the model or get some real data to test your claim further. You rushed to publish. You were so excited you just HAD to tell the Internet about your fantastic unsupported revelation immediately. But you weren't done! You came back later and posted what read, basically, like a blog post with even less mathematical support.

Let me make this clear to you. The Glyph Choice thread - or any thread on this site - is not your personal blog. You don't need to update us on every thought that occurs to you overnight, and we don't need to see the development process behind your claims. Come up with competent math that accounts for central game mechanics like spell critical strikes. Once you have a working model and have tested it, feel free to post about it. The thread is about results, not development.

As to the issue of my pompousness, you have no idea.

The math that I did post, may be "long winded" to you, which is an opinion, but the math is correct.

As far as providing something useful to the readers, my personal opinion is that I succeeded. In my opinion (until someone else would like to disprove my theory, with math) the Metamorphosis glyph is a better damage glyph for those spec'd into Meta. And I provided an explanation as to why.

Can you disprove it? Until you, or anyone else can, it's believable based on the information/ideas that I provided thus far.

So, although I understand your intention behind this supposed "infraction", I believe you are wrong to have issued it and more wrong for the pompous remarks you made in doing so.
