I have no problems with the Vindication/HoJ nerfs themselves, in fact I think these are good nerfs which hopefully paves the way for some active offensive utility down the road but seriously their justification for making the changes is the biggest load of bull I've heard from Blizzard for awhile.
Suddenly, after about 9 months, the HoJ player interrupt was never intended and needed to be hot fixed?
- oh come on don't insult my intelligence, just call the spade for the spade it is and say it's was a necessary balancing change if that's what you feel.
Vindication was apparently nerfed because ret is OP at lower ratings and in BGs.
- The nerf will have practically no effect on the level play where you run up to someone and nuke him down in 2 GCD's but it will affect higher rated games where you have to setup a CC/burst combo over and over til it succeeds.
Also, unlike any other ret paladin ability, Vindication directly scales with the level of your opponents gear.
