My DK is presently dualspecced frost tank/unholy tank using builds very similar to those in the OP. I had signifigant problems maintaining AoE aggro during the arena event on Thorim, so I swapped my blood DPS spec for unholy to remedy that.

Since I now have a dedicated AoE tanking spec, I'm trying to cook up a good single-target tanking spec for fights like Hodir. I'm somewhat under-geared (although not hopelessly so) for Ulduar, so any and all added survivability goes a long way for me.

To this end, I'm messing with a blood/frost hybrid build. I also lookied into a blood/unholy build, but my healer(s) commented incoming damage on me was somewhat spiky, so I went with frost for the extra mitigation.

I'm looking at a rotation along the lines of: IT->PS->OB->BS->BS->DUMP->OB->OB->BS->BS->DUMP

Having not had a chance to test it outside of heroics yet, I'm not entirely sure how it would perform in an actual raid. My main worry is how threat generation will be, since I had to leave out all the signiature strikes (HS, FS, SS), as well as the increased damage from the 45-point talents.

What do you think? Would this be a viable spec for MTing the 10man bosses in Ulduar, keeping in mind that I'd have an alternate spec for any encounter where more than 1 mob needs to be tanked at a time?
