Yes especially when combined with some of the Ulduar fight haste mechanics and its been hard to resist the guild pressure to switch to fire.

Just recently as I've finally been able to replace some of my +Hit/Crit heavy gear with +Spellpower/Haste/Spirit gear, things seem to be improving although I still can run oom if a fight goes a little longer than I hoped or I get jammed during an Evo.

What I've been leaning toward is picking up 2 more gear upgrades which will push my Spirit up about another 150 and then actually putting 3pts into Student of the Mind in which I currently have 0. All that should put me in the area of 900 Spirit which hopefully would give me the MP5/casting to sustain the mix of ABx3-AM (normal) + ABspam(until)MBAM (CDs) that seems to be necessary to equal TTW/Fire DPS without going oom.

I guess the worst case would be having to use Mage Armor over Molten Armor and Glyph of Mana Gem over Glyph of Molten Armor... I just can't imagine ever being able to overcome the DPS loss of dropping 7% crit just by picking up an xtra ~100mp5/casting.

My hope is actually that if they don't lift the 100% cap on mp5/casting (which they seem to want to avoid), they'll actually change Mage Armor and its Glyph to instead increase MP5 gained per point of Spirit. The thought being that +100MP5 can't make up for losing 350 Crit rating .... BUT something like 250MP5 just might by letting you maintain ABspam(until)MBAM significantly longer.
