Sweet mother of god that's a lot of awful. If you even think about posting something like this again you're going to get banned.

Original Post:

i have a question on how you measure pet dps and how your pets abilities improve your dps.
i've always wonderd how the wolf gave you so much more dps, so after reading about your analyzer i thought...
made a graph to show the dps w/ the wolf pet and another that i had thought to be a very good pet due to its dps, the serpent which has the Poison spit ability which does 130-170 damage over 8sec which for a non-exotic pet thats a very good amount of damage.
so i started at just a xbow (Final Voyage) and the 67.5 dps arrows, 7/57/7 spec, SS HM and AH glyphs and started the graph to see which pet gave the best Combined dps this is what i got
just xbow/arrows
w/ wolf: 1160.59
w/ Serpent: 1187.20
now thats not a bad offset of only 27 dps and as i went on the gap remained the same for the most part. all the way up to full set of gear showing the same sign that the serpent was the better, so clicked enable best raid buffs and best raid debuffs and then it showed that some how the wolf came out on top by 21 dps....
now this is where im questioning it, how can just adding a couple buffs and debuffs switch how much dps that pet gives you? know matter what the pet it should still give the same if not close to the same % of dps....so how can this be?
