How is this not largely redundant with the post two above yours? He already said haste was better than SP for throughput, so what are you adding?

My question is when do you stop stacking Int and start stacking SP, this mostly refers to gemming. If you expect to be a MT healer on hard hitting bosses would you sacrifice Int for SP gems at some point or is the 4/1 Int to SP conversion plus all the SP from gear enough to guarantee you can quickly recover from Hateful strikes or Fusion punches for example

Another point worth making is that if you want to increase your HPS, haste is what you should be looking at, not spell power. That doesn't mean you should ever gem for it, but when evaluating gear, remember that haste gives you a way bigger increase in HPS than spell power.
