Hello all, Great guide... Cathela!

Like many I had things come up in life and had to take a break from WoW around dec 2008. I used to raid pre wotlk:

BT/Hyjal/ZA

I was the main prot pally tank for Hyjal doing full clears, and then converting to RET for archi. In BT I was mostly spec'd RET.

My question is I am mostly in Badge/T6/Crafted, Mixed gear, but very good over all prot and ret set.

How do I convert from a PRE wotlk Paladin to a WOTLK pally... and do it smoothly? they changed so much I have been trying to catch up but fell so far behind any advice would be great.

I am currently reading as many posts as possible and its a mass brain dump of information to try and take in.

Can I get by with my pre wotlk gear? for atleast up to 80? and then start picking up and replacing pieces or are the blues in the gear section really much better. Wish I logged off in my tank suit. Will have to do that later.
