Basic gear questions like that don't belong here, you should be using RAWR for that. It'll tell you very quickly what gemming combinations give you the best DPS.

Is it bad to use Chaotic Skyflare diamond even though I use nightmare Tear and sovereign dreadstone both with a +6 str socket bonus doesnt the socket bonus makeup the difference?
