When to swap certainly isn't a problem for me. I got that. I do very much miss having a starring role in immediate switch damage. I didn't mind not topping the single target meters, and even with a big increase in my single target numbers, pures and some hybrids still outrun me (rogues by a large margin, and warriors by a significant margin). Having something that we do very well was always a nice part about playing retribution.

Now, it just feels clunky. I swap, swap seals, and do meh damage where I used to have a strong hand in helping.

Our ten man run is sometimes light on ranged DPS, so our melee has to switch to adds that need to be burned. That includes the trees. And frankly, if the ranged drops the ball or doesn't see the tree growing, you *have to switch or you risk a delay or wipe. Once upon a time, we could save the day that way.

I don't know that, given our lower overall damage, that I would consider that to be overpowered. And certainly, our current system is less than stellar when it comes to mechanics.

Anyway, sorry to derail. I hope we see a more active application of SoV, and I hope our ramp up time goes down a bit.
