Original Post:

During the SC2 panel they were also mentioning the newest incarnation of BattleNet and how it'll sync up all the info to the server. Seems like it'll operate much like Steam current does, what with the friends lists, the chat, and so forth.
Anyways, my interest lies within Achievements and how it interacts with the new BattleNet.
I'm not 100% sure on this, but for some reason I remember someone asking during the Q&A how
Achievements will be handled with the new BattleNet system.
From what I gathered, it will be a possibility that Achievements could be stored on your account, rather than
your character. To me this is something I've always thought would be a neat idea, that way instead of looking up
a characters achievement, you can see what the player has done.
I'd love to have all my achievements from various characters amalgamated into a central location, it annoys me
that some of my characters have achievements that others don't. :P
If anyone could help me shed some light on the situation, I would be much obliged. I tried searching YouTube for videos
of the SC2 and BattleNet Panel, but so far no dice.
Thanks in advance.
