I did Valks as (non IA) arcane simply for Empowered (light/dark) -> AP+IV = LOL
I'll have to respin my Arcane spec for IA and check it out.
I've also been using arcane on Jarraxus, and find it quite competitive. (cooldowns with +dmg buff, no ramp up time on new targets, etc)
I prefer fireball for Gorlock and Anub, and have been using glyphed scorch on champs, but arcane could work for burst on them. The 5-stack scorch on all targets is a nice decoy for their healers to try and dispel
