Preciate the feedback. I find the dynamics of the discussion interesting.

And yes, I do see that the static nature of our buffs are an issue. I would argue that very factor is what adds to the balancing dilemma and necessitates (in the minds of the designers) a low set of paired coefficients that inherently can't scale.

Although, to be clear about the timeline, LK was announced Aug, 2007 and shipped Nov, 2008. So, based on their own schedule, we're looking at over a year of this scenario being the case. I think that necessitates more attention than they're gonna give us. I would grant you, tufy, that they are also likely thinking this same thing you stated about Cataclysm and balancing the effort v. reward. Our stat balancing will be SO different come Cataclysm that I have serious doubts anything structural changes for us. Still means 14 months of... 7k LvB crits, which just kill me. Personal gripe, mea culpa.

I was really hoping this very conversation would be germane to the 3.2.2 discussion or that GC would give indications that it would be part of the conversation for 3.3. Alas, "no" to the former and so far, all statements are "no" to the latter as well.

So, yes, back to what actually is in 3.2.2. Again, preciate the feedback.
